Search for missing Mo. woman continuing

(BLUE SPRINGS, Mo., AP) — Family, friends and strangers are continuing a nearly weeklong gsearch for a missing 72-year-old Missouri woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
Hellen Erlene Cook was reported missing from Warsaw in Benton County on Saturday. She walked away from the vacation home she shares with her husband near Warsaw.
She’s described as about 5 feet tall, 97 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, a white T-shirt and tennis shoes.
Family and friends have conducted searches across northwest Missouri throughout the week and have received reports of several possible sightings.
Family members believe she might be trying to get to Buckner, where she and her husband live, or Blue Springs, where she attends church.
