City streets to be resurfaced starting in July

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) The city’s annual summer street maintenance program begins in July as numerous community streets will receive an asphalt surface overlay, according to a news release.
This work will include the application of approximately 3,782 tons of asphalt along with the milling of 17,458 square yards of old surface at a cost of more than $307,000. Additionally, nearly $70,000 will be spent on ADA improvements along with other curb and sidewalk projects.
Signs will be placed along the streets, and notices will be left at the homes and businesses located in the construction zones.
The streets scheduled for resurfacing are:

  • Aspen Way from Woodlawn Drive to Grandview Drive
  • Applewood Road from Woodlawn Drive to Grandview Drive
  • Bluebird Boulevard from Montserrat Park Road to Sunflower
  • Dogwood Drive from Bluebird Boulevard to the cul-de-sac
  • Vest Court from Montserrat Park Road to the cul-de-sac
  • Sunflower from Vest Drive to Bluebird Boulevard
  • Washington Street from King Street to Houx
  • South Street from Maguire to College streets
  • South Street from Washington to Main streets
  • Darrow from Clark Street to the cul-de-sac
  • Darrow from Darrow to the cul-de-sac
  • Spring Ridge Drive from Council Trail to Timberline Drive
  • Spring Ridge Drive from Timberline Drive to Patrick Road
  • Timberline Drive from Grandview Drive to Locust Lane
  • Essex Drive from Pembroke Drive to the cul-de-sac
  • Gay Street from Maguire to College streets
  • Railroad bridge on Maguire Street
