Knob Noster falls to St. Paul's

Knob Noster fell to St. Paul’s Lutheran in two games, 25-8, 25-9, during their first match of the season Monday.
“The Lady Panthers nerves showed in their first match of the season,” said coach Jennifer Goodrich. “They were a step behind where they needed to be some of the time. The ladies showed a lot of hustle against a strong St. Paul’s Lutheran team. They didn’t give up at any time throughout the match.”
Holly Chabotte had three kills, two assists and four digs.
Darby Cass had two kills one dig and one block. Sevannaugh Aquino had one kill and four digs. Sirius Sparks had one assist and two digs.
Taylor Orcutt had one dig; Kayla Kuhlman had one assist and one dig; Leighah Aquino had two digs; and Lorann Irey had one dig.
Knob Noster faces Sherwood at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
