(KANSAS CITY, Mo., AP) — Kansas City police are investigating a report of a bomb threat at the downtown headquarters for tax preparer H&R Block.
Police spokesman Darin Snapp says someone called in to say a bomb had been placed on the loading dock at the Block building Tuesday morning.
Snapp says about two blocks have been cordoned off while police investigate the report. He said no evacuations were immediately ordered, but that police were checking the report.
Police were called to the same building Monday on the report of a suspicious package that was later determined to be harmless.
