Mid-Missouri Artists Inc. donated two books to Trails Regional Library in memory of members who died in 2012.
“Breaking the Rules of Watercolor” by Shirley Trevena was donated in memory of Pauline Gill who painted vibrant, abstract watercolors and mixed media works.
“Landscape Painting” by Mitchell Albala was donated in memory of Jimmy Turner, a self-taught artist who enjoyed creating work in a variety of media and who especially enjoyed landscapes.
When cataloged, these books can be checked out or requested from any of the Trails Regional locations in Johnson and Lafayette Counties.
