Update: Cross country season ends, indoor track and field begins

The Mules and Jennies cross country teams wrapped up the 2018 season at the NCAA Central Regional Championship Nov. 17 in Joplin, Missouri.
The Mules took 16th out of 28 teams, while the Jennies finished 24th in a 35-team field. The Mules placed two runners in the top-100, sophomore Nick Victor led the way in 57th and sophomore Jared Mentz was close behind in 68th place. Sophomore Mariah Elmore was the Jennies best finisher taking 52nd place.
The Mules and Jennies runners will transition to the indoor track and field season that is scheduled to begin Saturday at the Happy Holidays Multi in Crete, Nebraska. The two-day event runs through Sunday.
