UCM is hosting a drag show for the sixth year in a row featuring drag queens with multiple dance performances.
The Royal Blush Drag Show is 7 p.m. Thursday Sept. 27 in Hendricks Hall.
The performers this year are Dirty Dorothy, Widow Von’Du, Miss Pricsilla, RiiRii, Heidi Banks and Genewa Stanwyck. Each drag queen will have two dance numbers to perform.
Emily Bergsieker, assistant director of student activities, said for many students, this is an opportunity to go to a drag show for the first time since many drag shows have an age restriction.
“I think the drag show is a great opportunity (for) education and to provide entertainment all in the same event,” Bergsieker said. “Along with the dance numbers and entertainment, we make sure there is an educational piece through the night.”
This event is free and open to the public.
