Western Missouri Medical Center will host the second annual Exploring Careers in Healthcare Opportunities Camp July 9-13. The camp is free and will provide exposure through hands-on experience, a behind the scenes look at the Emergency Department, job shadowing and more.
This camp is for students who are current high school freshmen through high school seniors graduating this May.
Students interested are required to complete the ECHO camp application, provide a letter of recommendation from a school counselor or teacher and write a one-page essay describing their specific healthcare career interest and what they hope to gain from ECHO camp.
All requirements are to be sent to Kayleen Thomas, Clinical Educator, at Western Missouri Medical Center, 403 Burkarth Road, Warrensburg, MO, 64093. The deadline to apply is April 20.
