(ST. LOUIS, AP) — The planning agency for the St. Louis area has a new leader.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1kSMsoG ) reports that the East-West Gateway Council of Governments on Wednesday named Jim Wild as executive director. He had been interim executive director since June 30 following the resignation of Ed Hillhouse, who took a job as associate dean at Missouri Baptist University.
Wild has worked for East-West Gateway for 22 year and had been deputy executive director since 2012. The agency is responsible for the roughly $900 million a year in projects that require federal funding in St. Louis and its surrounding seven counties.
