Streets surrounding Audrey J. Walton Stadium will be temporarily closed next week to accommodate the Drum Corps International Competition.
The competition is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 13. Groups will bring with them many large buses and equipment trucks, and an influx of fans that will create extra pedestrian traffic near the university, prior to and during the performances, according to a news release.
The streets that will be closed to vehicle traffic are:
Holden Street, from South Street to Clark Street, 2 to 11 p.m. Monday
Missouri Street, from Clark Street to Drummond Street, 2 to 11 p.m. Monday
Washington Street, from South Street to King Street, 7 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 14.
