Remains found at Sedalia trailer court identified

(SEDALIA, Mo., AP) — Remains found scattered at a central Missouri trailer park have been identified as those of a 35-year-old Marshall woman.

Pettis County Sheriff Kevin Bond says detectives identified Mandy Black through positive confirmation of tattoos on her body and contacted her family Thursday afternoon.
Bond told The Sedalia Democrat (http://bit.ly/SIxGmI) he believes Black was killed around the first of the year. Her remains were found Sunday in two areas of the Goodwill Chapel Trailer Park south of Sedalia, including near the trailer of 65-year-old Joseph Arbeiter, who was arrested four days earlier on several felony charges not related to the discovery.
Bond says he isn’t naming Arbeiter as a suspect in Black’s death and declined to comment on whether Arbeiter has been questioned about the remains.
