(ST. LOUIS, AP) — St. Louis authorities are looking for the operator of a drone that crashed into one of the city’s tallest buildings.
The DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter was found Monday afternoon after apparently striking the Metropolitan Square building and crash-landing on a 30th floor balcony. The drone is controlled remotely and features a high-definition video camera.
The Federal Aviation Administration and St. Louis police are investigating. Civilian drones are not allowed to fly higher than 400 feet above the ground, and must remain within sight of the operator.
