Jared E. Demilia, 20, was charged on Nov. 28 with two counts of second-degree burglary, according to a news release.
Police served a search warrant on Demilia’s home at 318 Grover St. on Nov. 27, arrested Demilia and recovered several antiques, coins and other items taken from the Edward D. Jones office at 109 E. Pine St. in downtown Warrensburg.
Officers also recovered a portion of the items stolen from Care Connection at 106 W. Young St. and items police think may have been taken from other businesses that reported burglaries in September, according to a news release.
Most of the items stolen from Care Connection were found near a storage structure in the parking lot of the business, according to a news release.
The burglaries at both businesses were reported on Nov. 26.
Care Connection initially lost a flat-screen TV, five laptop computers, iPod docking stations, a computer projector and an iPod.
Demilia posted a $10,000 bond Monday. His arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Johnson County Justice Center.
Second-degree burglary is a class-C felony, which is punishable by up to seven years in prison.
