The 2013 Lady Tiger Volleyball season ended Monday night with a loss to the Lee’s Summit North Broncos, suffering a final score of 25-13 in both games.
The Lady Tigers started the district tournament seeded last. However, they came away with an impressive final performance despite the loss. “Although we were the underdogs,” said outside hitter Ashley Adkinson, “we held our heads high and gave everything we had.”
Middle hitter Jessica Tiller was proud of her teammates’ performance. “It would have been easy to give up and not try because it was a formidable opponent,” she said, “but we pulled together as a team and ended the season on a good note.”
