Freshman Angel Torres studies Psychology work in her dark dorm. Though Torres prefers in-person learning, she understands why virtual learning is important for students' safety, “In-person classes allow me to feel more comfortable asking questions,” Torres said. “Learning through a screen, things lag and sometimes the teacher moves too fast. During the pandemic, I do think it’s safer to learn virtually.”
