Mules Baseball slips to No. 2 in latest NCAA Regional Rankings

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – The Central Missouri Mules baseball team dropped one spot to No. 2 in the latest NCAA-II Central Region rankings released Wednesday afternoon.
The Mules (35-11) are one of two MIAA teams ranked in the top eight, Missouri Western is third.
Minnesota State took over the top spot in the ranking followed by the Mules, Missouri Western, Southern Arkansas, St. Cloud State and Southwestern Oklahoma State rounding out the top six.
The top six teams in the final regional rankings will qualify for the NCAA-II Central Region Tournament May 16-19 at a campus site to be determined. The NCAA Baseball Selection Show will take place Sunday night at 9 p.m. CST at NCAA.com.
The Central Region is made up of teams from the MIAA, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and Great American Conference.
