Mules Golf finishes in 12th place at Barry Buccaneer Invitational

(MIAMI BEACH, Fla.) – The Central Missouri Mules Golf team fired a three-round total of 889 (+37) to finish in 12th place at the Barry Buccaneer Invitational on Tuesday at the Normandy Shores Golf Club.
The Mules shot rounds of 295, 297 and 297 to finish 12th in the 14-team field that featured three of the top five ranked teams in the country. Top-ranked Nova Southeastern won the tournament with a three-round total of 827, 25-under par. Ben Taylor of Nova won individual medalist honors with a nine-under par 204.
Travis Mays was the highest placing Mule in a tie for 20th place with a four-over par 217. Robby Hughey finished in a tie for 49th with a +11, 224. Cy Moritzshot a 225 to finish in a tie for 51st, while Jason Vann (231) and Mason Good (235) finished in ties for 66th and 74th, respectively.
The Mules are back in action next Monday and Tuesday at the Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia.
