Jennies Bowling finishes fifth at Music City Classic

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) – The second-ranked Jennies Bowling team went 2-1 on the final day of the Vanderbilt Music City Classic to finish in fifth place.
The Jens finished 11-3 for the tournament and senior Natalie Jimenez was named Most Outstanding Bowler after capturing the individual championship.
The Jennies beat Fairleigh Dickinson 4-3 in the first match of the day to set up a showdown with top-ranked Nebraska.
The Cornhuskers beat UCM 4-2 setting up a rematch with FDU in the fifth place match.
The Jennies beat Fairleigh Dickinson for the second time on the day, 4-1, to take home fifth place.
The Jens must wait until the NCAA Bowling Championships Selection Show takes place March 30 to see if they are selected for the NCAA Championships April 11-13 in Detroit, Mich.
