Update: Mules take five events in home relays

Mules indoor track and field hosted the indoor edition of the Mules Relays Friday at the Multipurpose Building. The Mules dominated on their home track and took first place in five events.
Junior Jan Janksy took first place and hit a personal best in the pole vault. His mark of 17-00 is the fifth best in UCM history. Sophomore Christopher Goodwin finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 47-04 and ¼.
Junior Chris Donald took first in the 800-meter dash finishing in 1 minute 58.18 seconds. Donald also finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.05 seconds. Sophomore Akeemo Minott ran the 60-meter dash in 6.89 seconds for a first-place finish.
Freshman Trey Miller took first in the multi event scoring 4,957 points, over 500 more than second place.
The Mules will be back in action at the Bearcat Invitational Friday and Saturday at Hughes Fieldhouse in Maryville, Missouri.
