(WARRENSBURG, Mo., digitalBURG) — Jennies soccer won its third-straight MIAA tournament championship with a shutout win over the University of Central Oklahoma Sunday, Nov. 6, at the South Recreational Complex.
The Jens completed the tournament with a 7-0 victory against the Bronchos, capping off a week of shoutout wins and securing their spot in the NCAA-II Central Region Tournament.
The NCAA announced the Jens earned the No. 1 seed for the NCAA-II Central Region Soccer Tournament for the second straight year during the NCAA-II Women’s Soccer selection show Monday, Nov. 7.
As the No. 1 seed, Jennies soccer gets a first round bye. UCM is scheduled to host Central Oklahoma and Minot State at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the South Recreational Complex. The winner of that game will face the Jennies at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, in Warrensburg.
Tickets for both games will be $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, and $1 for children ages 2-12. Children under the age of 2 get in free.
