(WINDSOR, Mo., AP) — A 44-year-old man has been charged in a deadly shooting in Missouri.
Jeffrey Dean Watring was arraigned Thursday on charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 45-year-old Terry Lynn Maples. The Sedalia Democrat (http://bit.ly/293xeqV) reports that the shooting happened Tuesday afternoon in the small town of Windsor, where both men lived.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release that when authorities arrived, Maples was lying on the front porch of a home and suffering from an apparent chest wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bond is set at $100,000. No attorney is listed for Watring in online court records.
