Mules Golf places second at MWSU Invitational

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) — The Central Missouri Mules Golf team finished out the fall portion of their schedule by firing a final round 291 on Tuesday afternoon to finish in second place at the Missouri Western Invitational at the St. Joseph Country Club.
UCM was in a tie for fourth place entering today’s third and final round. Central Oklahoma captured the team title.
Sophomore Cy Moritz was the highest placing Mule in a tie for fourth place individually. Moritz shot a final round 71 to finish the tournament at three-over par, 216. Eric Kline from Central Oklahoma took home individual medalist honors with a three-under 210, the only player in the tournament to finish under par.

Travis Mays and Sam Migdal both finished in a tie for 11th place with three-round totals of 221. Austin Jarchow was tied for 37th with a +14, 227 and Robby Hughey finished in a tie for 41st place with a 15-over 288.
Washburn finished in third place with team total of +37, Pittsburg State came in fourth and Northeastern State and Missouri Southern finished in a tie for fifth.
