Work by area artists selected for Springfield shows

Artwork by three area artists were selected for exhibit in art shows this fall in Springfield, Mo.
The Creamery Arts Center will host the Pure Enjoyment Art Exhibit in October, starting with an opening reception during the First Friday Art Walk Oct. 5.
Artists with works selected for this show are Gary Cadwallder, watercolors, “Yellow Roses” and Yellow Lilies”; Jodi Harsch, colored pencil, “Yard Bird” and Window to the Past”; and Rebecca Limback, mixed media, “Winter Weeds.”
Cadwallder’s watercolor painting “”Powell Gardens 2” was selected for the MOAK show which will be displayed in the Springfield Museum starting Nov. 17.
MOAK is a four-state regional exhibit with artists represented from
Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas.
This show is sponsored by Brewer Science (Rolla), the Springfield Regional Arts Council, and Arts Rolla.
