Jennies golf places 15th at Mustang Invitational

(MARSHALL, Minn.) – The UCM Jennies golf team finished 15th at the Southwest Minnesota Mustang Invitational, shooting a final round 360 at the Marshall Golf Club Sunday afternoon.
Freshman Kayla Temple posted the Jennies highest score for the weekend, tying for 48th after shooting a final round score of 89.
The Augustana, S.D., squad took the team title for the tournament, firing a final round 309 to finish with a total score of 624 over two-rounds, 48 over-par.
Augustana’s Emily Kvidera claimed the individual medalist honor, shooting a final round 70, two under-par, to finish with a score of 146, two over-par. Her score Sunday ties the record for lowest score in Mustang Invitational history.
The Jennies return to action Oct. 4-5 when they travel to Maryville, Mo., to participate in the Bearcat Fall Classic at Monzingo Lake Golf Club.
