Mules Golf finishes second at Super Regional, qualifies for NCAA Championships

(EUREKA, Mo.) — The fifth-ranked Central Missouri Mules shot a final round 302 and finished in second place at the NCAA-II Midwest/Central Super Regional at Fox Run Golf Club with a 29-over, 893.
The Mules qualified for the NCAA-II National Championships May 19-23 in Allendale, Mich.

Travis Mays finished in a tie for fourth place individually with a two-over par 218 after a final round 74. Cy Moritz finished in a tie for 13th at +7, 223. Teddy Jones was tied for 21st with a 225, while Robby Hughey (230) and Alex Springer (240) tied for 44th and 93rd, respectively.
The Mules finished seven shots back of Malone University, which won the regional crown with a 22-over par 886. Michael Colgate of Nebraska-Kearney won individual medalist honors with a three-round total of four-under par 212.
