(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The Mules had three provisional marks and several place winners at the final day of the Mule Relays Saturday afternoon.
George Charalambous earned a provisional mark in long jump, with second place finish at 23’2.75”. He also placed third in the high jump (6’7”). Hassan Ilyas placed third in the 60M hurdles with a provisional mark of 8.48. Adam Tredway was the final Mule to earn a provisional mark, he won the 800M run in a time of 1:55.34.
The Mules also won both relays. The 4×440 team of Ryan Mixdorf, Cole Davis, Michael Lockhart, and Kellin Loch finished with a time of 3:24.60. The distance medley team ofAustin Gott, Justin Pyburn, Eric Rogers, and Tredway finished in 10:48.04.
Gott won the mile with a time of 4:23.99. Tyler Stuber finished fourth in the mile, in a time of 4:27.46. Loch won the 600 yard run in a time of 1:12.84. Billy Leutzinger tied for first in pole vault (15’3”).
Kendall Preston finished second in the 200 M dash at 22.6. Levi Hughart placed third in weight throw with a throw of 53’7.5”. Lockhart finished third in the 400 M dash with a time of 50.29. Ross Lorber placed third in the 800 M run at 22.60. Spencer Hudson placed fourth in the 5000 M run with a time of 15:46.06.
Next week the Mules and Jennies will travel to Allendale, Mich. to compete in the GVSU Big Meet on Friday and Saturday. Events will begin at 11 a.m. both days.
