The Warrensburg Soccer Tigers crushed Center High School in Tuesday night’s game, 5-0.
Nate Miller (’15) scored two goals and Chase Jackson (’14), Nick Piontek, (’14) and Kyle Wittrock (’14) each scored a goal.
In honor of the 12 senior’s last home game, head Coach Matthew Bax mixed things around to have a starting line-up with only seniors.
Kyle Wittrock praised the team’s depth. “The game was great because even though we mixed up the line-up, we still looked great,” he said. “We all wanted to play to win.”
Spencer Tauchen (’14) said, “It’s been a good season thus far, but hopefully the best is yet to come.”
“We overcame a lot this season and kept a great record,” said Wittrock. “We have a good chance at winning districts.”
The Tigers will play next Tuesday night at Smith Cotton.
Emma Thomas is a student at Warrensburg High School.
