Case numbers have reached highs of 30 student cases and six faculty/staff cases this semester. While 43 faculty positions were identified for retrenchment, 20 positions were vacant because of prior resignations and retirements. Only eight positions identified belong to tenured faculty, who have the option of appealing the decision. The other 15 positions are filled by instructors or tenured-track faculty.
