Central Missouri outdoor track and field remains in the top-10 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s rankings that were released Tuesday morning.
A week ago, the Mules were ranked No. 9 with 103.47-points.
After a busy weekend at Drake Relays and the PSU Wendy’s Tune-Up, UCM now sits at No. 10 with 97.89-points.
Angelo State is sitting at No. 1 with 183.64, Colorado School of Mines is currently No. 2 with 144.83 points, Grand Valley State is in the No. 3 spot with 138.11. West Texas A&M sits at No. 4 (134.35) and Texas A&M Commerce rounds out the top five with 126.57.
The team is gearing up for the postseason action this weekend. UCM will host the 2019 MIAA Outdoor Championships Friday through Sunday at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
