“Last Comic Standing” semifinalist Kevin Bozeman is coming to the University of Central Missouri. The Spotlight is hosting the comedy show from 8-9:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in the Union Ballroom, Room 240E. Bozeman has made appearances on HBO, Comedy Central, NBC, CBS and Fox. He is known for his Dry Bar Comedy special “Clean & Unfiltered,” which has over 7 million views.
When asked about her feelings about the show, Abbey Bollinger, a Spotlight student was enthusiastic when she said, “Last October we went to a conference and that’s where we chose Kevin and he was really funny, so I’m looking forward to the show!”
Students are involved in helping choose the acts that will perform on campus at the Spotlight VIP meetings, which are open to all UCM students, on at 4 p.m. on Thursdays in Union 217.
The comedy show is free and open to the public. Spotlight students recommend getting to the event about 15 or even 20 minutes early if you are wanting a certain seat.
Coming up on the Spotlight calendar is a DIY night later this month and the Red and Black Bash at the end of the year.
