Both the Jennies and Mules cross country teams competed at the MIAA Championship last weekend in Emporia, Kansas.
The Mules placed eighth out of 11 teams, while the Jennies took 10th out of 13 teams.
Junior Nick Victor was the Mules top-finisher for the second straight race after his top-10 finish at the Mule Run Oct. 20. Victor finished in 19th place with a time of 26:37.4 and earned an All-Conference honorable mention.
Sophomore Mariah Elmore led the Jennies with a 29th place finish and finished the 5K course in 23:35.8.
Next up for Central Missouri is the NCAA Central Region Championship hosted by Missouri Southern Nov. 17 at Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Missouri.
