Two females were treated at Western Missouri Medical Center early Thursday morning with gunshot wounds after a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of West Pine Street at approximately 1:37 a.m. according to a report from the Warrensburg Police Department.
One of the victims, 22, was struck in the right wrist and the other victim, 21, was struck on the back of her left shoulder, according to the report and a press release from the police department.
According to the press release, the suspect fled the area and is described as a heavyset black male with face-length dreadlocks.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Warrensburg Police Department at 660-747-9133.
