No. 17 Jennies volleyball bounced back from their 3-1 loss to Washburn Saturday with a convincing sweep of William Jewell Tuesday on the road.
The Jennies led for the entire match against the Cardinals. Jewell managed to tie the Jennies once in the first set at 7-7 but Central Missouri answered with a 6-0 run. The Cardinals cut the Jennies lead to three a few times but couldn’t get closer.
Senior Kylie Hohlen tallied a game-high 21 digs, seven kills and two blocks. Sophomore Audrey Fisher picked up 14 kills on 19 attempts while hitting .737. The Jennies .317 hitting percentage against the Cardinals is a season-best.
The Jennies remain on the road this weekend. They take on Missouri Southern and Southwest Baptist Friday and Saturday as they continue MIAA play.
