UCM Career Services is hosting the Careers in Government Day Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. in Union 237 A and B.
Employers such as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the FBI and the Missouri Department of Social Services will be in attendance, as well as smaller local agencies for students interested in networking or looking for a position with government agencies.
The event will allow for students to connect with employers and potentially find internships or full-time positions. Dylan Green, career advisor, said the event this year will be held as a small job fair rather than a Q&A panel for students as it has been in years past. This will allow for more students to easily connect with the agencies in which they are interested.
