Mules football has moved up one spot in the latest edition of the American Football Coaches Association poll to 20th following their 62-10 win over Northeastern State.
The Mules are among four teams from the MIAA in the rankings. Northwest Missouri State entered the top-5 at No. 4. Fort Hays State fell 12 spots to No. 17 after their upset loss to Missouri Western. Pittsburg State made their first appearance in the top-25 at No. 23 after a convincing 2-0 start.
Next up for the Mules is a home matchup with Missouri Western. The Griffons are coming off a huge 23-13 upset of then No. 5 Fort Hays State.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton Stadium.
