The Mules football team saw its name on the preseason polls, with UCM coming in at No. 23 in the College Football America top 30 list, according to a press release.
The Mules are ranked third among MIAA teams and are eighth in Super Region 3.
Seth Hebert, tight end, is on the CFA Starting Lineup, their version of the All-American team. He played in 11 games last year with 34 receptions for 573 yards and five touchdowns. He was a First Team All-MIAA member and was chosen as a First Team American Football Coaches Association All-American.
The Mules were 9-3 last season and ended the year with a 38-28 win in the Mineral Water Bowl against Minnesota-Duluth.
They return four All-Americans in Brook Bolles, quarterback; Zach Davidson, punter; Seth Hebert, tight end and Devante Turner, running back.
