The Office of Student Activities is hosting an outdoor concert Friday to thank UCM staff and faculty who have helped serve the student community.
The Office of Student Activities and the Student Recreation and Wellness Center is sponsoring a concert at 7 p.m. to thank UCM employees and community members who have helped serve UCM students in some way.
Student Activities encourages anyone who has helped with student living in any way, such as delivering tables and chairs for an event, helped financially or encouraged a student in any way to attend.
The concert will be held on the west side of the Student Recreation Center with a performance by Alabama folk singer Pierce Pettis, who is on tour with his dog, Buddy.
Student Activities will be serving free lemonade iced tea and popcorn.
If the weather gets too hot or humid or there are any other weather issues, the concert will be moved into the atrium of the recreation center. Seating will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs.
