Hebert put up career numbers against Washburn, grabbing five passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns. He was also selected First Team All-MIAA as he led tight ends in the MIAA in receiving yards, touchdowns and yards per reception.
With Bolles at the helm, the Mules finished second in Division II in total offense with 524.4 yards per game and they were seventh in passing offense per game at 318.3. He threw for 3,766 yards and rushed for 556 more, leading the NCAA in total offense per game. He scored 32 touchdowns with 23 through the air and nine on the ground. Bolles himself left his mark on the UCM history books. His 4,322 yards of total offense are the second most in a single-season in UCM history, and his 3,766 passing yards are third.
Central Missouri went 9-3 during the regular season and finished their season with a 38-28 win over Minnesota-Duluth in the Mineral Water Bowl.
