University of Central Missouri Athletics, along with the Mules and Jennies basketball teams are teaming up with the area Toys for Tots campaign during Thursday night’s MIAA doubleheader against Missouri Western.
Anyone who donates a new, unwrapped toy or makes a monetary donation of at least $10 at the doubleheader will receive a coupon for a free box of popcorn courtesy of UCM Concessions by Sodexo, according to a news release.
The local Toys for Tots Marine group will have donation centers at both the northwest and northeast entrances to the Multipurpose Building.
In addition, Santa Claus will be on hand to meet with children. Santa will arrive at halftime of the Jennies game and will stay until the start of the second half of the Mules game.
The Jennies and Mules will host the Missouri Western Griffons Thursday night starting with the women’s game at 5:30 p.m.
