(AXTELL, Neb.) — The Jennies golf team wrapped up play at their first NCAA Regional with a 12th-place finish.
The team finished the 54-hole tournament at 87-over par with a team total of 951, seven shots back of 11th place Upper Iowa.
Elizabeth Leath finished as the highest placing Jennie in a tie for 23rd at 13-over par, 220. She shot a final round 76, four-over par. Jordan Rehkow was tied for 46th at 21-over par after a final round 78. Kelly Welker finished tied for 53rd, shooting a final round 80 to finish at 24-over par. Maranda Smith was 61st at 31-up after a final round 85 with Taelyn Entriken finished two shots back in 62nd place after a final round 83.
Augustana took home the team title with a 17-over par 881, one shot better than Northeastern State. Kayla Schroeder of NSU and Kali Trautman of Augustana finished tied for first individually at one-over par 217 after both shot a 72 in the final round.
