Laban Sialo finished as runner-up to lead the Mules. He came in at 24:44.59. Tyler Stuber was third in an 8K time of 24:48.53. Adam Tredway was eighth in a time of 25:07.06. All three earned All-MIAA honors for placing in the top 10. Ben Barrows was 14th in 25:27.51.
The Mules totaled 56 points to edge out the Lions, who had 57 points.
On the women’s side, Megan Glamann earned All-MIAA honors with a sixth place finish in a time of 22:04.76. Courtney Klaty was 17th in 22:34.95, while Allie Rexroat finished in 20th place in a time of 22:46.50.
The Jennies finished fifth overall with 159 points. Southwest Baptist captured the women’s title with 35 points.
The Mules and Jennies are both back in action Nov. 9 at the NCAA-II Central Regional in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Mules Cross Country wins MIAA Championship

(PITTSBURG, Kan.) — The Central Missouri Mules cross country team edged out Missouri Southern by one point to claim the MIAA Cross Country Championship, their third in the last four years, on Saturday morning. The Jennies came in fifth in the women’s race.
