KMOS-TV receives award for children’s programming

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The University of Central Missouri’s public broadcasting television station, KMOS-TV, was recently awarded a Certificate of Merit in Children’s Programming at the Missouri Association of Broadcasters annual awards banquet at the Lodge of the Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Mo.
KMOS-TV was recognized for the production “Kids Young Writers Contest 2012,” a program highlighting the 2012 “PBS Kids Go!” contest sponsored by the station, according to a news release.
The Young Writers’ Contest is for children in kindergarten through third grade.
