Mules Golf finishes 15th at NCAA Championships

(HERSHEY, Pa.) – The Central Missouri Mules Golf team shot a final round 311 and finished in a tie for 15th place at 63-over par at the NCAA-II Championships at the East Course at Hershey Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.
The Mules did not finish in the top eight and failed to qualify for the match play portion of the championships.
Travis Mays shot a final round 79 and finished in a tie for 33rd place with a 13-over 225. Sam Migdal finished in a tie for 57th place with a 17-over 229, while Cy Moritz (230), and Teddy Jones (233) finished in ties for 59th and 76th, respectively. Robby Hughey (238) finished in 93rd place with a three-round total of 238.
Florida Southern finished in first place to earn the No. 1 seed heading into the match play championships at 15-over par (867). FSU’s Tim Crouch finished in first place at two-under par, 211.
