Entrepreneur Lecture Series continues with UCM alumnus

The Entrepreneur Zone at the University of Central Missouri continues its Entrepreneur Lecture Series at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25 in Ward Edwards 2000.
UCM alumnus Ted Littell, president of White Knight Limousine and Coach, will be the speaker for the event.
A 1995 graduate of UCM with a degree in aviation technology, Littell developed the concept for the family-owned limousine and coach business. As president of the company that currently operates 60 vehicles throughout the state of Missouri, he handles all vehicle purchases, financing and insurance for the business while overseeing the development of the Kansas city operation.
Beginning in 1997 with a single coach, White Knight grew to a fleet of six after being awarded its first intercollegiate athletic contract. The company now operates in markets in Kansas City, Columbia, Springfield and St. Louis and holds contracts with 14 universities for athletic and other travel needs.
White Knight operates 60 vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, stretch limousines, trolleys, mini-coaches, full-size coaches, entertainment coaches and support vehicles. The company employs 60 people and maintains operating facilities in Kansas City and Columbia. Littell hopes to grow company revenues to approximately $5 million in 2013.
As an aviator, Littell flies more than 100 hours per year in a Beechcraft Bonanza, His pastimes include traveling, home remodeling, flying remote control helicopters, real estate development and restoring classic cars, trolley cars and buses. He resides in Columbia with his fiancé Kari and their three rescued dogs.
The Entrepreneur Lecture Series will feature area entrepreneurs telling the stories of their successes, failures, and lessons learned in four, two-hour lecture events during 2013. Each event will begin with a short reception, followed by a 45-minute lecture and questions and answers. The third and fourth lectures in the series are planned for August and November 2013.
Although there is no charge for attendance, registration is requested to assure adequate preparation. Registration may be completed online at the-ezone.org.
