Track & Field rankings for Mules and Jennies

(NEW ORLEANS, La.) – Following their performance at Emporia State last weekend, the Central Missouri Track & Field teams earned a spot in both the men’s and women’s USTFCCCA National Rankings.
The Jennies hold the No. 11 rank, unchanged from a week ago, while the Mules slid two spots down to No. 24.
The Jennies have held firm at No. 11 since the outdoor track preseason rankings debuted two weeks ago. The Mules started the year at No. 24 before moving up last week. The Mules and Jennies point totals dropped this week, with the Mules picking up 48.61 points, while the Jennies tallied 91.2 points.
The Mules are the fourth-highest ranked team behind Lincoln at No. 7, and Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern, at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively. The Jennies rank second among conference teams, behind the Blue Tigers who earned the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive week.
Central Missouri heads to Pittsburg State this Saturday for the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic, while the Mules and Jennies multi-event athletes will take part in the Emporia State Multis this Thursday and Friday.
