Mules & Jennies compete at WU Invitational

(ST. LOUIS, Mo.) – Senior distance runner Dalton Moberly picked up a provisional mark in his first meet of the season, leading the Mules at the Washington University Invitational in St. Louis on Friday night.
Moberly posted a time of 14:26.68 in the 5,000-meter run, good for the fifth-fastest time in Division II to this point in the season.
Junior Tyler Stuber placed 13th in the 5,000-meters, recording a time of 14:55.42. Ben Barrows placed 30th in the race, with a time of 15:27.38. Sophomores Trey Turner (56th) and Sam Lutz (79th) also competed in the 5,000-meters.
Four Jennies also competed in the women’s 5,000-meters, led by sophomore Megan Glamann, who is coming off her All-MIAA performance at the MIAA Indoor Championships in the same event. Glamann finished fifth in the event, with a time of 17:55.98.
Senior Kacy Hession finished the race in 20th, with a time of 18:41.07, followed closely behind by sophomore Courtney Klaty, who placed 29th. Mel Wilson finished in 40th, with a time of 19:30.96.
