A Clinton woman is in serious condition after totaling her car in a wreck Sunday morning.
Amy Hastings, 39, was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence after she drove off the road and hit a telephone pole, a fence and a tree, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Hastings was traveling eastbound on Route B, half a mile east of Index Road, when she lost control of her 2000 Volkswagen, according to Highway Patrol reports.
She was not wearing a seat belt, and she was the only person in the car.
