(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The U.S. Navy Sea Chanters can’t make it to town thanks to automatic federal budget cuts, known as the sequestration.
The performance was planned for Sunday, March 10, in Hendricks Hall on the University of Central Missouri campus.
The UCM Department of Music was notified by the director of the U.S. Navy Band that all U.S. military band concerts have been cancelled until further notice due to the sequestration of federal funding last Friday.
