(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – A local man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Eric T. Hawkins, 32, of Sedalia, was northbound on Route F with Vernon K. Collett, 48, of Warrensburg. Hawkins lost control of the vehicle when he attempted to turn, according to Highway Patrol reports. The vehicle overturned and stopped in a ditch on the right side of the highway.
Hawkins was not hurt, but Collett suffered minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Highway Patrol reports.
