Focus group created to discuss city signage

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The city has some $20,000 to spend on signs welcoming people to town and is seeking input on creating these entry signs along Maguire Street.
The city and the Chamber of Commerce have scheduled a focus group meeting to discuss city signage from 7-8:30 a.m. Jan. 29 at Western Missouri Medical Center, Conference Room 1.
Approximately 45 people, including representatives from the University of Central Missouri and stakeholders along Maguire Street, have been invited to attend, according to a news release.
The focus group will discuss entry signs for the north and south ends of Maguire Street. The entry signs could be digital, based on cost and community input.
The city also has set aside $2,000 for pole banners and cross street banners.
For more information, contact Barbara Carroll, director of community development, at 660-747-9135.
